Our Story
Furtico is built on a foundation of passion, craftsmanship, and an unwavering commitment to quality.
Our journey began in 1969, when Mr. Baldev Singh Kanda moved to Pune with humble beginnings.
He started as a skilled furniture craftsman, later becoming a contractor, and by the late 1970s, he established Vikram Furniture.
Over the decades, Vikram Furniture became a trusted name, delivering projects for corporates, financial institutions, and government organizations.
Carrying forward this legacy, Vikram Singh Kanda expanded the business into civil work, furnishings, and more, establishing a reputation for quality and reliability in the industry.
With a strong foundation behind him, Trilochan Singh Kanda pursued his MSc in Finance & Investment Banking in London and worked in risk and analytics for several years.
During his travels, he observed the structured global furniture market and the unorganized Indian sector, where:
- Misleading material quality created a lack of trust.
- Cheap products were sold at premium prices, leading to dissatisfaction.
- After-sales service was non-existent, leaving customers with no support.
- Installation costs were disproportionately high, sometimes exceeding the product cost.
This realization led him to create Furtico – a brand dedicated to transparency, trust, and superior quality. In May 2024, he returned to India to transform his B2B legacy into a B2C brand, making premium furniture accessible to all.
